We just got through creating 5 letters asking for admission information for 5 colleges of our choices. After we inserted all the info we merged the letter and the college info so we didn't have to re type it. It was pretty cool!
So this weekend I had a softball tournament and we sucked! No Joke!! We had 2 pool games, 1 on Friday, 1 on Saturday. On Friday we did really well, we lost but it was a close game and everyone did what they were supposed to. On Saturday, in our first game of the day, me and Boo, my best friend, were the ONLY ones who talked and tried to keep everyones chins up. 2 of 14 players...yeah it didn't work, we lost, The score? A lot - 1. Our first bracket game, we lost and we were the only two talking it up yet again and do any of the coaches acknowledge us...NO! "Not a single soul is talking out there" while I can't even talk because I'm LOSING MY VOICE! Yes it was aggrivating! In our last game of the day...you guessed it we lost! More people were talking but so were we and by this point people are laughing at me because my voice is cracking like no other and I am beyond smoke-outta-the-ears angry because yet again I am sitting on the bench when I know I am just as good if not better than the girl playing on the field! But my mom did tell me that one of the moms told her that I was, by far, the best outfielder on the team and that made me happy!

WWWOOOOOO! More College Research! I'm gonna be so excited the day I get accepted to a college because I won't have to do anymore researching and stuff! Not to long ago, I had to choose 10 colleges I was interested in attending and write down where they were located and to see if they had my majors. It was for softball so, in addition to that, we had to see if they had a softball team, find all the coaches and assistant coaches names, their email addresses, the school colors and then the mascot. It took FOREVER and it was 10 times harder than what you'd expect! Then a couple of weekends ago, for our college exposure tournaments, we had to e-mail college coaches and tell them that we were in the tournament. We also had to tell them about ourselves, our grades, the classes we take, the position we play, any awards we have received academically and athletically and why we are interested in their softball program, which means you have to know your stuff! I e-mailed 3 coaches and was told that the one from Trinity stopped by to watch for a little bit(vey exciting!). So it's apparently worth it and I won't not do it, it's just very time consuming!

This Weekend we had Spring Woods Homecoming!!! It was so much fun. I did EVERYTHING! Friday night was my cousins birthday so we went over to my aunts house and I went
TRICK-OR-TREATING with her. Then we went back to my aunts house to watch THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS in their front lawn. I stayed there until 8-ish and then I went to the FOOTBALL GAME to see our team get pumulled 6-34! After the game I went to AMANDA'S HOUSE where we chilled and looked up people on FACEBOOK! On Saturday, I slept in, then went to CHILI'S with the whole fam beacause my family from England was leaving to go back home. After Lunch we went to my GRANDMA'S to say our GOODBYES and PAINT MY NAILS. My Madre then took me home to GET READY!!! At 4:30 we left to go back to my G-MA's because the fam wanted to see MY DRESS, Took a BILLION PICTURES, then headed to the IRVIN'S to take a BILLION MORE. After we finished taking pics, we went to PAPPADEAUX, the DANCE, and then the MALL to See HSM 3 (which was as corny as the first 2 at the beginning BUT GOT BETTER!!) in our DRESSES. It was SO MUCH FUN! Then we went to KELSEY'S HOUSE to eat ICE CREAM and play ROCK BAND. I had a GREAT TIME!

I have definite plans of attending college after I graduate from my high school, Spring Woods. I have always dreamed of going to Rice University http://www.rice.edu/and I am not quite sure why, I just always have. When my parents would ask me where I wanted to go to college, I would always say, with no hesitation, Rice. They have a great school and when I think of college I think of the Rice campus. Its location is near home, it's right across the street from the zoo, Miller Outdoor Theater, it's basically in the Museum District and it's like 5 minutes away from Downtown. I have just always thought it would be a great place to go to college. Plus Rice offers both of the majors I am interested in. The only downfall is that they do not have Division Softball. At this time last year, that was perfectly fine. Actually about three months ago that was perfectly fine because I had no intention of playing college softball. But I joined my tournament team and have worked really hard to better myself and every step of it has been extremely fun and therefore my thoughts on college softball have changed. Because I think I would now like to play college softball, I have really looked into other colleges that I thought would be great schools to attend. One of those colleges, one I thought would be really fun to attend, would be LSU http://www.lsu.edu/. They have an amazing softball program as well as an amazing all-around sports program http://www.lsusports.net/SportSelect. They too offer both of the majors I have looked into and my dad and all of his buddies have been MAJOR Tiger fans for as long as I can remember. Another school I would be pleased to attend would be Baylor University in Waco, Texas. My best friends sister is currently enrolled and her brother just recently graduated from there and they both love(d) it. I went up there last year for the Bears Homecoming and it was so much fun. We saw the parade, Pigskin (short little plays created and performed by the sorrorities and fraternities), the bonfire and hung out in the dorms. It was the coolest experience ever! So my options are still opened and I will probably attend the college that offers me the largest scholarship, but all in all these are my top three!

Today I just finished learning how to make and customize tables on the computer! They are pretty fun to create and now that I know exactly how to make them they're pretty easy too! Right now I am so beyond tired that I can hardly function and the best part about it is that I have a POLYATOMIC ION Quiz in Chemistry next period. Can you say fun! But today is better than yesterday. I was so tired from Plano and really did not want to come to school but I made myself because I had a test that I didn't even study for. Well anyway, I was getting ready in the bathroom and everyone else was still asleep when the phone rang. My mom got out of bed, answered the phone, and said "what" very loudly and sudden. I new immediately something was wrong but not sure of what. She went to go get the cordless phone and when I asked what was up she shoed me off so I figured someone was just sick. Five minutes later she came into the bathroom with tears in her eyes and said that Mr. Beal had died earlier that morning. I was so upset. Mr. Beal was one of my close friends and an all around family friends grandpa. He was an assistant soccer coach to my our team and I had known him since I was probably 5. He was like a grandpa to me! I literally cried until I got to school so my day was really terribly Horrible!

I have another softball tourney this weekend!!! We will be taking a four hour drive to PLANO tonight, leaving as soon as I get home from school, arriving there sometime after 7, then I eat, chill, talk and go to bed just in time for me to wake up at 5 because we have to be ready to go, in the lobby of our hotel BY 6:15. We just got knew uniforms...they are soooo awesome! Last weekend in Beaumont there were three wedding receptions- 1 Friday night and 2 Saturday. We were invited in to the one on Friday and no we did not know the people. The FOB was so funny. He looked like an older version of Kid Rock-including the long blond(his was gray) hair- in an all white outfit-suit shoes and du rag...yes I said du rag. He was quite a site and by the end of the night his white, untucked shirt was was half unbuttoned and he was disco dancing in the lobby where we were hangin' out. It was hilarious! but he was extremely nice. He asked us where we were from and why we were there and coincidentally, he's from Bear Creek so he knew exactly where we lived and his daughter, the one getting married, used to play select ball too. Can you say SMALL WORLD!!!! It was lots of fun.
