Ok so I had a really awesome Spring Break! I did just about everything you can do. To start it off I was supposed to have a Softball Tournament Saturday but it was rained out so instead I stayed home and helped my mom finish cleaning the house, something neither of us wanted to do but my cousins from Maryland were coming in so we had to! On Sunday my cousin Amanda and her husband Chris came to Houston. We were ready and waiting for them at the airport at 8:30, talk about early! Well we hadn't seen Amanda in six years because she and her then fiance were living in England for work so we were extremely excited to see her and meet him. When we got back to our house we immediatly went inside and ate HOAGIES and OLD BAY CHIPS, up north specialties which are mouth-watering delicious. After we ate we caught up, looked at Amanda N' Chris' Wedding pictures and the pictures from all of there travels, and decided to go to the mall. We had a girls day while the boys went and played at the arcade... For dinner we had a MASSIVE barbeque which was delicious. Then Monday we ventured on out to the zoo. Lots of fun but very crowded...we had to park in the hospitals parking garage! Tuesday we went to the beach. The sun didn't come out until 4:00 and yes we were there at like 11:00. We almost froze! Then Wednesdfay we baked at the Carnival and Rodeo...once again lots of fun and after all that excitement we relaxed for the rest of the week. Eventful huh!!!

My Birthday was AWESOME!!! I had lunch with my mom, my bros, and my BFF Mollie. We went to Collina's and had like the BEST PIZZA! It was extra good. Mollie got me 16 PRESENTS!. It was so cool, I had to unwrap them in order to so that was lots of fun. Then we went to see MADAGASCAR 2: ESCAPE TO AFRICA! It was really cute. When we got home I played football with my brothers and then it was time to open my presents... I got two sweater dresses that were adorable and can't wait to wear, a new Hollister shirt, a gold "Sweetheart" necklace, a bracelate from TIFFANY'S, a Barnes & Noble gift card and a NEW PHONE!!! I was so excited its the coolest thing ever! It's the DARE and its just AWESOME! It even has a drawing pad on it. Now how cool is that?!? But the most exciting thing of all is I finally can call our ISOTOPE GREEN PUNCH BUGGY MINE!!!!! My dad was so sweet... he got home early while we were at the movies and he wrote a little note on it in window markers! It literally made me cry! Then my other friend, Amanda, came over to give me my gift-a picture frame with a homecoming pic in it and one of those cute things you can hang pictures in!-and we watched Ghost Rider and then half of Starsky & Hutch and had birthday cake. I don't like cake so instead of the traditional birthday cake she made me a JAMOCA ALMOND FUDGE ICE CREAM PIE! It was total surprise because I usually don't get a cake or special desert or anything because I don't like that kinda stuff-ice cream outta the freezer is the norm. I blew out 16 candles in the shape of a 16. It was so good!!! On Thanksgiving the whole fam comes to my house and I get more presents.

We just got through creating 5 letters asking for admission information for 5 colleges of our choices. After we inserted all the info we merged the letter and the college info so we didn't have to re type it. It was pretty cool!
So this weekend I had a softball tournament and we sucked! No Joke!! We had 2 pool games, 1 on Friday, 1 on Saturday. On Friday we did really well, we lost but it was a close game and everyone did what they were supposed to. On Saturday, in our first game of the day, me and Boo, my best friend, were the ONLY ones who talked and tried to keep everyones chins up. 2 of 14 players...yeah it didn't work, we lost, The score? A lot - 1. Our first bracket game, we lost and we were the only two talking it up yet again and do any of the coaches acknowledge us...NO! "Not a single soul is talking out there" while I can't even talk because I'm LOSING MY VOICE! Yes it was aggrivating! In our last game of the day...you guessed it we lost! More people were talking but so were we and by this point people are laughing at me because my voice is cracking like no other and I am beyond smoke-outta-the-ears angry because yet again I am sitting on the bench when I know I am just as good if not better than the girl playing on the field! But my mom did tell me that one of the moms told her that I was, by far, the best outfielder on the team and that made me happy!

WWWOOOOOO! More College Research! I'm gonna be so excited the day I get accepted to a college because I won't have to do anymore researching and stuff! Not to long ago, I had to choose 10 colleges I was interested in attending and write down where they were located and to see if they had my majors. It was for softball so, in addition to that, we had to see if they had a softball team, find all the coaches and assistant coaches names, their email addresses, the school colors and then the mascot. It took FOREVER and it was 10 times harder than what you'd expect! Then a couple of weekends ago, for our college exposure tournaments, we had to e-mail college coaches and tell them that we were in the tournament. We also had to tell them about ourselves, our grades, the classes we take, the position we play, any awards we have received academically and athletically and why we are interested in their softball program, which means you have to know your stuff! I e-mailed 3 coaches and was told that the one from Trinity stopped by to watch for a little bit(vey exciting!). So it's apparently worth it and I won't not do it, it's just very time consuming!

This Weekend we had Spring Woods Homecoming!!! It was so much fun. I did EVERYTHING! Friday night was my cousins birthday so we went over to my aunts house and I went
TRICK-OR-TREATING with her. Then we went back to my aunts house to watch THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS in their front lawn. I stayed there until 8-ish and then I went to the FOOTBALL GAME to see our team get pumulled 6-34! After the game I went to AMANDA'S HOUSE where we chilled and looked up people on FACEBOOK! On Saturday, I slept in, then went to CHILI'S with the whole fam beacause my family from England was leaving to go back home. After Lunch we went to my GRANDMA'S to say our GOODBYES and PAINT MY NAILS. My Madre then took me home to GET READY!!! At 4:30 we left to go back to my G-MA's because the fam wanted to see MY DRESS, Took a BILLION PICTURES, then headed to the IRVIN'S to take a BILLION MORE. After we finished taking pics, we went to PAPPADEAUX, the DANCE, and then the MALL to See HSM 3 (which was as corny as the first 2 at the beginning BUT GOT BETTER!!) in our DRESSES. It was SO MUCH FUN! Then we went to KELSEY'S HOUSE to eat ICE CREAM and play ROCK BAND. I had a GREAT TIME!

I have definite plans of attending college after I graduate from my high school, Spring Woods. I have always dreamed of going to Rice University http://www.rice.edu/and I am not quite sure why, I just always have. When my parents would ask me where I wanted to go to college, I would always say, with no hesitation, Rice. They have a great school and when I think of college I think of the Rice campus. Its location is near home, it's right across the street from the zoo, Miller Outdoor Theater, it's basically in the Museum District and it's like 5 minutes away from Downtown. I have just always thought it would be a great place to go to college. Plus Rice offers both of the majors I am interested in. The only downfall is that they do not have Division Softball. At this time last year, that was perfectly fine. Actually about three months ago that was perfectly fine because I had no intention of playing college softball. But I joined my tournament team and have worked really hard to better myself and every step of it has been extremely fun and therefore my thoughts on college softball have changed. Because I think I would now like to play college softball, I have really looked into other colleges that I thought would be great schools to attend. One of those colleges, one I thought would be really fun to attend, would be LSU http://www.lsu.edu/. They have an amazing softball program as well as an amazing all-around sports program http://www.lsusports.net/SportSelect. They too offer both of the majors I have looked into and my dad and all of his buddies have been MAJOR Tiger fans for as long as I can remember. Another school I would be pleased to attend would be Baylor University in Waco, Texas. My best friends sister is currently enrolled and her brother just recently graduated from there and they both love(d) it. I went up there last year for the Bears Homecoming and it was so much fun. We saw the parade, Pigskin (short little plays created and performed by the sorrorities and fraternities), the bonfire and hung out in the dorms. It was the coolest experience ever! So my options are still opened and I will probably attend the college that offers me the largest scholarship, but all in all these are my top three!
